LinkedIn Company API questions
How do I get LinkedIn company data from a company URL?
Take the slug after /company/ in the page’s link, for example openai from linkedin.com/company/openai, and send it as universalName. The response has the name, tagline, description, industry, employee count, headquarters and other locations, website, follower count, specialties, funding details and similar companies.
Can I use it to enrich a list of companies?
Yes. Call it once per company slug and keep the fields you need, such as industry, headcount and headquarters. Each lookup is one request for 1 credit.
Does it return the company’s employees?
No. It returns the company page, including its employee count, but not the list of people who work there.
How do I use the LinkedIn Company API?
Send a POST request to https://api.bridgly.app/linkedin/get-company-from-url with universalName in the JSON body and your API key in the Authorization header. In the TypeScript SDK, call client.linkedin.getCompanyFromUrl(). AI agents connected to Bridgly over MCP can call the linkedin_get_company_from_url tool.
How much does the LinkedIn Company API cost?
Costs 1 credit per request. Credits cost $2.00 per 1,000 on pay-as-you-go and as low as $1.00 per 1,000 at volume. New accounts on a business email start with 100 free credits, and failed requests are never charged.
