Reddit User Search API questions
How do I find a Reddit account by name?
Send the name or a keyword as the query. Each account comes back with its username, karma, avatar and profile link; open one with the Reddit User API for full details.
Can I find the Reddit account of a brand or creator?
Yes. Search the brand or creator name, compare karma, then open the likely matches with the Reddit User API to check account age and verification.
How do I get more than 10 users from a Reddit search?
Each call returns up to 10 users and a nextCursor. Send the same query with it as cursor to get the next page; it is null when there are no more results.
How do I use the Reddit User Search API?
Send a POST request to https://api.bridgly.app/reddit/search/users with query in the JSON body and your API key in the Authorization header. In the TypeScript SDK, call client.reddit.searchUsers(). AI agents connected to Bridgly over MCP can call the reddit_search_users tool.
How much does the Reddit User Search API cost?
Costs 1 credit per request. Credits cost $2.00 per 1,000 on pay-as-you-go and as low as $1.00 per 1,000 at volume. New accounts on a business email start with 100 free credits, and failed requests are never charged.
