Find TikTok posts using a hashtag, with captions, creators, views, likes, comments and sound details. Pass the hashtag name and paginate with a cursor. Every response has the same envelope: the result in data, plus timeMs and the creditsCost of the call.

No. They come in the order TikTok shows them on the hashtag page, which favors popular videos.

Should I send a hashtag name or a numeric challenge ID?

Send the hashtag text in hashtag, with or without a leading #, for example cooking. You do not need to resolve a numeric ID yourself. The separate Hashtag API returns the hashtag’s details and reported aggregate counts when you need context for the posts.

Can I use these results as a complete count of a campaign’s posts?

Treat them as the posts available through TikTok’s hashtag listing, not as an exhaustive campaign census. Save video IDs to deduplicate observations, and use each post’s caption and hashtags to check relevance. A hashtag’s aggregate count and the number of posts you collect describe different things.

How do I use the TikTok Hashtag Videos API?
