What does the Twitter Retweeters API return?

Twitter retweeters API: list who retweeted any tweet on X (Twitter), with each account’s handle, name, bio and follower and following counts, as JSON. Every response has the same envelope: the result in data, plus timeMs and the creditsCost of the call.

Request body

cursorstring: The previous response's `nextCursor`, to fetch the next page. Omit it for the first page.
tweetIdstringrequired: Numeric ID of the tweet whose retweeters to list, or the tweet link, e.g. "1234567890".
countinteger · 1–100 · default 10: Number of results to return (1–100). Defaults to 10.

Send the tweet ID, the number after /status/ in its link. Each retweeter comes back with handle, display name, bio and follower and following counts; send the cursor for more.

Can I pick a giveaway winner from the retweets?

Yes. Page through the retweeters of the giveaway tweet and draw from the list. You pay 1 credit per account returned.

Which retweets gave a tweet the most reach?

Sort the retweeters by follower count. The accounts at the top put the tweet in front of the most people.

How do I get everyone who retweeted a tweet?

Set count to up to 100 accounts per call (10 by default). Send the nextCursor from each response back as cursor to get the next page; it is null once you reach the end of the list.

How do I use the Twitter Retweeters API?
