ScrapeCreators and Bridgly overlap closely: both let developers retrieve social data through an API without maintaining their own scraping infrastructure. The useful question is which service returns the records your application needs at a cost and integration effort that work for you. A platform logo or a low price per credit does not settle that question on its own.

LinkedIn enrichment: compare the actual fields

LinkedIn is a meaningful reason to evaluate Bridgly as a ScrapeCreators alternative. A Bridgly profile lookup exposes a structured profile with experience, education, skills, certifications, headline, location, and other available details. A CRM enrichment feature or recruiting tool can work with career information. Field availability still depends on the profile; evaluate representative records from your target audience.

ScrapeCreators’ LinkedIn profile documentation describes a profile and recent posts as seen without login, and explicitly says work history and job title are not publicly returned. If career history drives your scoring or matching logic, a successful profile response alone does not establish that the endpoint can support your feature.

Bridgly also offers LinkedIn company data, job lookups, company and job search, posts, comments, and reactions. These actions can support a workflow that starts with finding relevant employers and continues into enrichment and activity research. Plan each step separately: retrieving a profile, searching jobs, and listing posts have different inputs and billing rules. Use only the actions your application needs.

Social coverage: where ScrapeCreators is stronger

ScrapeCreators has a broader documented catalog, including Facebook, Threads, Bluesky, Pinterest, Twitch, Spotify, and several advertising libraries. That breadth makes it a better candidate when those sources are central to your project. Bridgly’s current seven-platform scope does not cover those workflows, so switching the entire workload would leave gaps.

YouTube illustrates why actions matter as much as platform names. Bridgly currently focuses on video transcripts. ScrapeCreators documents channel details and a wider set of YouTube endpoints. A tool for analyzing channel catalogs or collecting video comments needs different capabilities from a tool that summarizes a known video’s transcript. Match the specific action before comparing providers.

For Bridgly’s supported workflows, X and Reddit provide research around posts, accounts, conversations, and search. Instagram and TikTok cover profiles and content; GitHub supports developer and repository research. Read the endpoint pages for filters and pagination rather than assuming every platform offers the same actions. A narrowly defined endpoint can be enough when it supplies exactly what your feature consumes.

Pricing: compare credits, requests, and results

Prices below are in USD, as of October 25, 2026. Both services sell credits without requiring a recurring subscription. For Bridgly, the size of one purchase determines the credit rate. Several smaller top-ups do not combine into a larger package. The following amounts come from Bridgly’s current pricing, so you can compare the initial purchase and the resulting unit rate together.

Bridgly tierPurchase fromCredits at that amountPer 1,000 credits
Pay as you go$52,500$2.00
Growth$5030,000$1.67
Scale$300300,000$1.00
ScrapeCreators packOne-time priceCreditsPer 1,000 credits
Freelance$4725,000$1.88
Business$497500,000$0.994
EnterpriseCustom1M+Custom

These are credit prices. To estimate a workload, multiply the endpoint’s credit charge by its unit price, and keep the upfront purchase separate from consumption. Custom agreements and conditional bonus credits are excluded. Check both pricing pages before purchasing.

Single-profile lookups

Bridgly charges one credit for a LinkedIn profile lookup. ScrapeCreators also documents one credit for its LinkedIn profile request. The rate tables therefore help estimate individual lookups, but the outputs differ as described above. The lower price per response is useful only if that response contains the fields your product needs.

Bridgly’s entry tier is useful when you want a small paid evaluation before buying a larger balance. Growth and Scale reduce the unit price and increase rate limits. Estimate how many successful lookups you need, the purchase required to obtain the advertised rate, and whether your traffic fits the applicable limits. Do not treat a pack’s purchase price as a monthly charge.

Post lists can have a different winner

Bridgly’s Instagram post list bills per returned post. ScrapeCreators’ Instagram posts endpoint documents one credit per request, and its example returns multiple items. If one request returns 12 usable posts, that is one ScrapeCreators credit versus 12 Bridgly credits for 12 posts. This illustrates billing; it does not guarantee page size, equal fields, or data availability.

For a list or search task, calculate cost per usable record after pagination and filtering. Count the requests needed to complete the task, then apply each endpoint’s charge. Check empty results too: Bridgly charges for an empty successful search, while error responses are uncharged. A figure labeled “per 1,000 requests” cannot describe both a profile lookup and a list billed by result.

Caching, freshness, and request limits

ScrapeCreators’ response cache is an advantage for workloads that can accept previously retrieved data. Supported endpoints accept a maximum cache age; matching cache hits cost zero credits. A miss triggers a live scrape at the normal endpoint price. Cache metadata identifies a cached result and when it was collected.

For historical content or profile attributes that rarely change, that option can reduce repeated collection costs. For a dashboard tracking current engagement, an older response may be unsuitable. Decide how old the data can be before estimating savings. Bridgly does not currently document an equivalent free response-cache option; applications can store retrieved data themselves and decide when to refresh it.

Bridgly applies per-platform limits shared across the account’s keys and delivery methods. Larger purchase tiers raise those limits while their credits remain. ScrapeCreators’ introduction says it does not enforce API rate limits, while recommending fewer than 500 concurrent requests. Neither policy establishes which service will finish your workload faster.

Test the same inputs at the concurrency you expect to use. Record successful completion time, missing fields, retries, and total charged credits. Keep cached and live results separate in your measurements. A fast response that omits a required field does not complete an enrichment task; a slower response can still be useful for collection in a background workflow.

API integration, TypeScript, CLI, and MCP

Bridgly’s TypeScript SDK and delivery methods provide typed inputs and responses across supported endpoints. Successful API responses include data, creditsCost, and timeMs. The SDK returns API and network failures as typed error results, so your application can branch on the outcome. Invalid SDK inputs can still raise validation errors; pass valid parameters before relying on the result contract.

TypeScript
import { Bridgly } from '@bridgly/sdk';
const client = new Bridgly({ apiKey: 'YOUR_BRIDGLY_API_KEY' });
const profile = await client.linkedin.getProfileFromUrl({
memberIdentity: 'williamhgates',
});
if (profile.type === 'success') {
console.log(profile.data);
console.log(profile.creditsCost);
} else {
console.error(profile.status, profile.message);
}

ScrapeCreators offers a CLI for terminal workflows and an MCP server for agents, with documented OAuth and API-key authentication options. Its integrations catalog also includes n8n and Apify. MCP availability alone is therefore not a deciding advantage for either product. Compare the tools that complete your task.

For an AI agent, start with a task such as finding a professional profile and summarizing career history. Check whether the tools expose the necessary data, how many calls the task requires, and whether the agent handles missing records and pagination correctly. For a TypeScript application, Bridgly’s SDK is useful when you want endpoint-specific types and a consistent result envelope throughout the integration.

Which service should you choose?

  • Choose Bridgly for LinkedIn enrichment when work history, education, skills, or job data are part of your application. Validate required fields against your target profiles first.
  • Choose Bridgly for a typed social data integration when its catalog covers your workflow and you want a TypeScript SDK, response-level credit reporting, and a small initial paid purchase.
  • Choose ScrapeCreators for broader source coverage when advertising libraries or platforms outside Bridgly’s catalog are essential.
  • Evaluate ScrapeCreators for repeated cached lookups and multi-item feeds when acceptable data age and per-request billing make it economical for your task.

Moving an existing workflow to Bridgly

Start with one supported action, such as a LinkedIn profile lookup. Map the fields your application reads to the Bridgly response, and test representative public profiles. Include missing records and sparse profiles in the evaluation. Update authentication, pagination, and error handling before sending production traffic. The request and response contracts differ, so changing the API key alone is not sufficient.

You can keep different providers for different tasks. An application may use Bridgly for career enrichment and another provider for advertising research. Choose the boundary around the data your feature needs, and account for maintaining each integration. If you are also considering a marketplace and job execution platform, read Apify vs Bridgly.
