What does the Instagram Followers API return?

Instagram followers API: export the followers of any public Instagram account, each with username, full name, profile picture and verified flag, as JSON. Every response has the same envelope: the result in data, plus timeMs and the creditsCost of the call.

How do I export Instagram followers?

Send the account’s username and page through the list by sending the nextCursor from each response back as cursor. Every follower has username, full name, profile picture and private and verified flags.

Can I check an influencer’s followers for fake accounts?

You can sample them. Look for patterns such as random-looking usernames, missing full names or a large share of private accounts.

How much does it cost to export followers?

1 credit per follower returned, so 1,000 followers is 1,000 credits. Instagram decides how many come back on each page, up to the count you ask for.

How do I get the full follower list of an Instagram account?

Each response has a nextCursor. Until it is null, send it back as cursor to get the next batch of followers.
