Instagram Following API questions
How do I see who an Instagram user follows?
Send the username and page through the list with cursor. Each account has its username, full name, profile picture and private and verified flags.
What is a following list useful for?
It shows which brands, creators and peers an account pays attention to. Comparing the following lists of several creators in a niche finds the accounts they all follow.
How do I get the full list of accounts an Instagram user follows?
Each response has a nextCursor. Until it is null, send it back as cursor to get the next batch of accounts.
How do I use the Instagram Following API?
Send a POST request to https://api.bridgly.app/instagram/following with username in the JSON body and your API key in the Authorization header. In the TypeScript SDK, call client.instagram.getFollowing(). AI agents connected to Bridgly over MCP can call the instagram_following tool.
How much does the Instagram Following API cost?
Costs 1 credit per result returned, with a minimum of 1 credit per request. Credits cost $2.00 per 1,000 on pay-as-you-go and as low as $1.00 per 1,000 at volume. New accounts on a business email start with 100 free credits, and failed requests are never charged.
