LinkedIn Post Search API questions
How can I monitor LinkedIn for mentions of my brand or a keyword?
Search the keyword with sortOrder set to date_posted and datePosted set to past-24h, and run it daily. Each post comes back with its text, author, link and reaction, comment and share counts.
Is there an API to search LinkedIn posts?
Yes. LinkedIn’s official API does not offer keyword search of posts; here you send a keyword and get the matching posts as JSON.
Can I find people talking about a problem my product solves?
Yes. Search the phrases people use when they have the problem, then reach out to the authors or read the replies with the LinkedIn Post Comments API.
How do I get more than 10 results from a LinkedIn post search?
Each call returns up to 10 posts. Send the same search again with start set to 10, then 20 and so on, to get the next ones.
How do I use the LinkedIn Post Search API?
Send a POST request to https://api.bridgly.app/linkedin/search/posts with keyword in the JSON body and your API key in the Authorization header. In the TypeScript SDK, call client.linkedin.searchPosts(). AI agents connected to Bridgly over MCP can call the linkedin_search_posts tool.
How much does the LinkedIn Post Search API cost?
Costs 1 credit per result returned, with a minimum of 1 credit per request. Credits cost $2.00 per 1,000 on pay-as-you-go and as low as $1.00 per 1,000 at volume. New accounts on a business email start with 100 free credits, and failed requests are never charged.
