What does the TikTok Playlists API return?

TikTok playlists API: list the playlists a TikTok creator made, by username, with each playlist’s name, cover and number of videos, as JSON. Every response has the same envelope: the result in data, plus timeMs and the creditsCost of the call.

uniqueIdstringrequired: TikTok username, with or without @, or the profile link, for example "tiktok" or "https://www.tiktok.com/@tiktok".

How do I get the videos in a TikTok playlist?

Take the playlist id from this endpoint and pass it to the playlist videos endpoint.

Does this endpoint return the videos inside each playlist?

No. It returns playlist summaries with id, name, videoCount and coverUrl when available. Send a returned id as playlistId to the Playlist Videos API to retrieve the posts. This lets you discover a creator’s collections before deciding which ones to load.

Are playlists the same as all of a creator’s published posts?

No. Playlists represent collections the creator has organized. Use the User Posts API for the account’s post feed, including posts that may not belong to a playlist. A playlist’s videoCount describes that collection, not the creator’s total number of uploads.

How do I use the TikTok Playlists API?

Send a POST request to https://api.bridgly.app/tiktok/get-user-playlists with uniqueId in the JSON body and your API key in the Authorization header. In the TypeScript SDK, call client.tiktok.getUserPlaylists(). AI agents connected to Bridgly over MCP can call the tiktok_get_user_playlists tool.
