LinkedIn Skills API questions
How do I get all the skills on a LinkedIn profile?
Send the slug after /in/ in their profile link as publicId. Skills come back in the order the profile shows them, up to 100 per call, and nextStart picks up where a page ended.
Does it include endorsement counts?
Yes. Each skill has its endorsement count as LinkedIn shows it, such as "12" or "99+", or null when nobody has endorsed it.
How do I use the LinkedIn Skills API?
Send a POST request to https://api.bridgly.app/linkedin/get-profile-skills with publicId in the JSON body and your API key in the Authorization header. In the TypeScript SDK, call client.linkedin.getProfileSkills(). AI agents connected to Bridgly over MCP can call the linkedin_get_profile_skills tool.
How much does the LinkedIn Skills API cost?
Costs 1 credit per request. Credits cost $2.00 per 1,000 on pay-as-you-go and as low as $1.00 per 1,000 at volume. New accounts on a business email start with 100 free credits, and failed requests are never charged.
