Reddit Comment API questions

How do I get a single Reddit comment and its replies?

Send the comment’s permalink, either the full URL or a path such as /r/programming/comments/1u3a0cd/title/labc123/. You get the comment, the replies beneath it and the post it was left on.

Where do I find a comment’s permalink?

Click Share on the comment and copy the link, or take it from the Reddit Comment Search API, which returns a link for each comment it finds.

How do I use the Reddit Comment API?

Send a POST request to https://api.bridgly.app/reddit/get-comment with permalink in the JSON body and your API key in the Authorization header. In the TypeScript SDK, call client.reddit.getComment(). AI agents connected to Bridgly over MCP can call the reddit_get_comment tool.

How much does the Reddit Comment API cost?

Costs 1 credit per request. Credits cost $2.00 per 1,000 on pay-as-you-go and as low as $1.00 per 1,000 at volume. New accounts on a business email start with 100 free credits, and failed requests are never charged.
