Reddit Post API questions

How do I get the comments from a Reddit thread with an API?

Send the post’s URL. The response has the post and its comment thread, with replies nested under the comments they answer, in one call for 1 credit.

Can I feed a Reddit thread to an LLM?

Yes. The post and comments come back as clean JSON with authors and scores, easy to turn into a prompt that summarizes a discussion or pulls out product feedback.

How do I use the Reddit Post API?

Send a POST request to https://api.bridgly.app/reddit/get-post with url in the JSON body and your API key in the Authorization header. In the TypeScript SDK, call client.reddit.getPost(). AI agents connected to Bridgly over MCP can call the reddit_get_post tool.

How much does the Reddit Post API cost?

Costs 1 credit per request. Credits cost $2.00 per 1,000 on pay-as-you-go and as low as $1.00 per 1,000 at volume. New accounts on a business email start with 100 free credits, and failed requests are never charged.
