What does the TikTok Profile API return?

TikTok profile API: get any TikTok profile by username as JSON, with nickname, bio, avatar, follower and like counts, verified and private flags and IDs. Every response has the same envelope: the result in data, plus timeMs and the creditsCost of the call.

How do I get TikTok user info by username?

Send the username, with or without the @. The response has the nickname, bio, avatar, whether the account is verified or private, its numeric id and secUid, and its comment, duet and stitch settings.

Does it return follower and like counts?

Yes. Each profile includes follower, following, total like and video counts alongside the bio and account settings.

What is a TikTok secUid?

An ID TikTok gives each account that stays the same when the username changes. Store it if you track accounts over time.

How do I use the TikTok Profile API?

Send a POST request to https://api.bridgly.app/tiktok/get-user with uniqueId in the JSON body and your API key in the Authorization header. In the TypeScript SDK, call client.tiktok.getUser(). AI agents connected to Bridgly over MCP can call the tiktok_get_user tool.
