What does the TikTok Followers API return?

TikTok followers API: list the followers of any public TikTok account by username, with each follower’s nickname, bio, avatar and follower counts, as JSON. Every response has the same envelope: the result in data, plus timeMs and the creditsCost of the call.

cursorstring: The previous response's `nextCursor`, to fetch the next page. Omit it for the first page.
uniqueIdstringrequired: TikTok username, with or without @, or the profile link, for example "tiktok" or "https://www.tiktok.com/@tiktok".

TikTok Followers API questions

How do I get more than one page of followers?

Pass the nextCursor from each response as cursor in the next request. The total field gives the follower count TikTok reports for the account.

Can I get followers of a private account?

No. A private account’s followers are only visible to people it approved, so the request returns a 403 and is not charged.

Does the reported total guarantee that I can retrieve every follower?

No. total is the count TikTok reports, while users contains the accounts available on that page. Visibility restrictions and unavailable accounts can make a collected list smaller than that count. Continue with nextCursor when present, and keep the returned account IDs to recognize duplicates across observations.

How do I use the TikTok Followers API?

Send a POST request to https://api.bridgly.app/tiktok/get-user-followers with uniqueId in the JSON body and your API key in the Authorization header. In the TypeScript SDK, call client.tiktok.getUserFollowers(). AI agents connected to Bridgly over MCP can call the tiktok_get_user_followers tool.
