TikTok Reposts API questions
What is a TikTok repost?
A repost shares someone else’s video with your followers without posting it on your own profile grid. This endpoint lists those shared videos, each with its original creator.
Does a repost result identify the original video creator?
Yes. The author belongs to the original post, while uniqueId in your request identifies the account whose reposts you are reading. Keep both identities in your records if you are tracking how content is shared between accounts.
Can reposts tell me exactly when an account shared a video?
The video’s createTime describes publication of the original post. It should not be treated as the time this account reposted it. For change tracking, record when your own collection first sees a video ID and describe that as an observation time.
How do I use the TikTok Reposts API?
Send a POST request to https://api.bridgly.app/tiktok/get-user-reposts with uniqueId in the JSON body and your API key in the Authorization header. In the TypeScript SDK, call client.tiktok.getUserReposts(). AI agents connected to Bridgly over MCP can call the tiktok_get_user_reposts tool.
How much does the TikTok Reposts API cost?
Costs 1 credit per result returned, with a minimum of 1 credit per request. Credits cost $2.00 per 1,000 on pay-as-you-go and as low as $1.00 per 1,000 at volume. New accounts on a business email start with 100 free credits, and failed requests are never charged.
