Twitter User Tweets API questions

How do I get a Twitter user’s tweets with an API?

Get the account’s numeric user ID from the Twitter User API and send it as userId. Each call returns a page of about 20 tweets; send the nextCursor from the response to page back through older ones.

Can I export an account’s tweets for analysis?

Yes. Page through the timeline and store each tweet’s text, time and engagement counts. You pay 1 credit per tweet returned.

How do I get the replies an account posts?

Use the Twitter Replies API, which lists the replies an account has posted to other tweets.

How do I get all of a user’s tweets?

Each call returns about 20 tweets and a nextCursor. Send it back as cursor to get the next page; it is null once the timeline runs out.

How do I use the Twitter User Tweets API?

Send a POST request to https://api.bridgly.app/x/get-user-tweets with userId in the JSON body and your API key in the Authorization header. In the TypeScript SDK, call client.x.getUserTweets(). AI agents connected to Bridgly over MCP can call the x_get_user_tweets tool.

How much does the Twitter User Tweets API cost?

Costs 1 credit per result returned, with a minimum of 1 credit per request. Credits cost $2.00 per 1,000 on pay-as-you-go and as low as $1.00 per 1,000 at volume. New accounts on a business email start with 100 free credits, and failed requests are never charged.
