Twitter User Search API questions
How do I find Twitter accounts by keyword?
Send a name or keyword as the query. Each account comes back with handle, display name, bio, location, website, avatar and follower, following and tweet counts.
Can I find influencers in a niche on X?
Yes. Search the topic, then sort the accounts by follower count and read their bios. Open the ones you like with the Twitter User Tweets API to see what they post.
How do I get more than 20 accounts from a Twitter user search?
Set count to up to 20 accounts per call (10 by default), then send the nextCursor from each response back as cursor to get the next page; it is null once there are no more results.
How do I use the Twitter User Search API?
Send a POST request to https://api.bridgly.app/x/search/users with query in the JSON body and your API key in the Authorization header. In the TypeScript SDK, call client.x.searchUsers(). AI agents connected to Bridgly over MCP can call the x_search_users tool.
How much does the Twitter User Search API cost?
Costs 1 credit per result returned, with a minimum of 1 credit per request. Credits cost $2.00 per 1,000 on pay-as-you-go and as low as $1.00 per 1,000 at volume. New accounts on a business email start with 100 free credits, and failed requests are never charged.
