What is the Instagram Profile Viewer?

Instagram asks visitors to log in before it shows much of a profile. This viewer returns the public details of any account straight away: the follower and following counts, the number of posts, the bio, the links in the bio and whether the account is verified, private or a business.

Nothing is posted, followed or liked on your behalf, and the account you look up is not notified. You only ever see information the account has made public.

Can I view an Instagram profile without an account?

Yes. Enter the username at the top of this page and the public details of the profile are shown. You do not need an Instagram account and you are never asked to log in to one.

Will the person know I viewed their profile?

No. Instagram does not tell accounts who looked at their profile, and this tool does not interact with the account in any way.

Can it show private Instagram accounts?

It shows what a private account still makes public: the name, bio, profile picture and counts. Posts and stories of a private account stay private.

Is the follower count exact?

Yes. The tool returns the full number rather than the rounded figure Instagram displays, such as 12,431 instead of 12.4K.

Is the Instagram Profile Viewer free?
