What is the Instagram Comment Viewer?

Instagram hides the comments of a post behind a login wall on the web. This viewer loads them from the link alone and lists each comment with the username of its author, when it was written and how many likes it received.

It works on photo posts, carousels and Reels from public accounts. This page shows the first comments of a post; the API pages through all of them.

How can I see Instagram comments without logging in?

Paste the link of the post or Reel at the top of this page and press View comments. The comments load with the author, time and like count of each one, with no Instagram login.

Does it work for Reels?

Yes. Links to posts, carousels and Reels are all accepted, as long as the account that published them is public.

How many comments does it show?

This page shows the first comments of a post. To export every comment of a post, use the API, which returns them page by page.

Can I see comments on a private account’s post?

No. Posts from private accounts are only visible to their approved followers, so their comments cannot be read here.

Is the Instagram Comment Viewer free?

Yes. The Instagram Comment Viewer is free to use with no sign-up, no credit card and no browser extension to install. You only complete a quick check that you are human.

Is there a limit on how many times I can use it?
