Subreddit Comments API questions

How do I get the latest comments across a subreddit?

Send the subreddit name. You get its newest comments, up to 10 per call, with text, author, score and the post each was left on; send the nextCursor back as cursor for older ones.

Can I watch a subreddit for mentions of my product?

Yes. Poll the newest comments and check the text for your product or competitor names. To search all of Reddit instead of one community, use the Reddit Comment Search API.

How do I get older comments from a subreddit?

Each call returns up to 10 comments and a nextCursor. Send it back as cursor to get the next 10; it is null once there are no more.

How do I use the Subreddit Comments API?

Send a POST request to https://api.bridgly.app/reddit/list-subreddit-comments with subreddit in the JSON body and your API key in the Authorization header. In the TypeScript SDK, call client.reddit.listSubredditComments(). AI agents connected to Bridgly over MCP can call the reddit_list_subreddit_comments tool.

How much does the Subreddit Comments API cost?

Costs 1 credit per request. Credits cost $2.00 per 1,000 on pay-as-you-go and as low as $1.00 per 1,000 at volume. New accounts on a business email start with 100 free credits, and failed requests are never charged.
