Subreddit Posts API questions

How do I get the top posts from a subreddit this week?

Send the subreddit name with sort set to top and time set to week. Each post has the title, body, author, score, comment count and link, up to 10 per call; send the nextCursor back as cursor for the next page.

How do I monitor a subreddit for new posts?

Call it with sort set to new on a schedule and keep the posts you have not seen yet. It suits alerts on a niche subreddit or feeding new threads into a support or sales workflow.

Can I use subreddit posts for market research?

Yes. The top posts of a month or year show what a community cares about; read their comment threads with the Reddit Post API.

How do I get more than 10 posts from a subreddit?

Each call returns up to 10 posts and a nextCursor. Send it back as cursor, with the same sort, to get the next 10; it is null once there are no more posts.

How do I use the Subreddit Posts API?

Send a POST request to https://api.bridgly.app/reddit/list-subreddit-posts with subreddit in the JSON body and your API key in the Authorization header. In the TypeScript SDK, call client.reddit.listSubredditPosts(). AI agents connected to Bridgly over MCP can call the reddit_list_subreddit_posts tool.

How much does the Subreddit Posts API cost?

Costs 1 credit per request. Credits cost $2.00 per 1,000 on pay-as-you-go and as low as $1.00 per 1,000 at volume. New accounts on a business email start with 100 free credits, and failed requests are never charged.
