Reddit Search API questions

Is there an API to search Reddit?

Yes. Send a query and get the posts, communities and users that match, sorted by relevance, hot, top, new or comment count, optionally within a time window. For one kind of result, use the post, community, user or comment search.

How do I find where people discuss a topic on Reddit?

Search the topic and look at both the posts and the communities that come back: the posts are the conversations, the communities are where they happen.

How do I get more than 10 Reddit search results?

Each call returns up to 10 results and a nextCursor. Send the same query with it as cursor to get the next page; it is null when there are no more results.

How do I use the Reddit Search API?

Send a POST request to https://api.bridgly.app/reddit/search/all with query in the JSON body and your API key in the Authorization header. In the TypeScript SDK, call client.reddit.searchAll(). AI agents connected to Bridgly over MCP can call the reddit_search_all tool.

How much does the Reddit Search API cost?

Costs 1 credit per request. Credits cost $2.00 per 1,000 on pay-as-you-go and as low as $1.00 per 1,000 at volume. New accounts on a business email start with 100 free credits, and failed requests are never charged.
